Stuffed...

Another holiday has come and gone and we have given our thanks many, many times. And we have eaten turkey for many, many days from sandwiches at lunch to homemade soup at dinner...delicious!

This past weekend Dave and I hosted our first holiday and prepared our first turkey dinner. We took care of the turkey, gravy, stuffing and mashed potatoes while we had our guests all bring the side dishes and B-Rock bring the beer. Yes, he isn't considered a guest and yes, he got off easy ;) Dave's parents came down on the Friday and are here until the end of this weekend so they came over Saturday with C&D, C's mom and my parents and grandparents as well. It was a great visit with lot's of good conversation, baseball watching, pinball playing and relaxation.

Sunday we had some friends over for more pinball, cards and Wii...a great night that went into the early morn' and everyone feeling pretty tired the day after. That didn't stop the boys from heading to Burlington Monday afternoon to take a bus trip to Buffalo for the Monday Nighter. Sure, the bus overbooked and the 5 of them didn't get on, and yes the tour guide gave them their tickets and left them in the mall parking lot and drove off, and yes they didn't get to tailgate or have a BBQ but I am pretty sure it all worked out in the end considering they got a full refund, the tickets to the game and hired a limo to take them in style. Not to mention that Dave's team came out victorious with seconds left on the clock.

Sufficiently stuffed until Christmas...good times.
